Provides office support to the program within an SVS Program office.
Duties and Responsibilities Answer phones and take messages Monitor and order office supplies as needed Prepare reports and correspondence on computer Assist with client payroll and billing when requested by the Program Director(s) Enter accounting or program data into computer File office documents Ensure efficient operation of all office procedures Keep all legally required postings up to date All other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Regional Director Mandated Abuse Reporter Full time Education and Work
Experience:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Must have ability to competently use Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher software programs; effective writing skills and ability to generate reports in an accurate and timely manner; ability to deal effectively with staff, clients and outside community.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must obtain & maintain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance and pass a job related physical.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
