Administrative Assistant

Glendale, CA Glendale, CA Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $90,000 a year $50,000 - $90,000 a year Margarian Law, a leading legal firm specializing in Lemon Law, Dealer Fraud, and Class Actions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Management Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with our existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and executing tasks assigned by the litigation team in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, specializing in Lemon Law, Dealer Fraud, and Class Actions.
Execute tasks assigned by the litigation team, following established processes and procedures in the specified practice areas.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case progress, address their concerns, and answer any questions they may have regarding their cases.
Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation and information required for case settlements in the specific practice areas.
Prepare and review documents and correspondence under the supervision and guidance of the litigation team, focusing on tasks assigned in the specified practice areas.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and case records in compliance with the specific practice areas, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and other case-related activities specific to Lemon Law, Dealer Fraud, and Class Actions as directed by the litigation team.
Collaborate with internal teams to support the smooth flow of case management processes and enhance overall client experience.
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients in the specified practice areas.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting attorneys and other team members in the specified practice areas.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Ethical and professional conduct, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.
Nice to have:
Solid understanding of legal processes related to Lemon Law, Dealer Fraud, and/or Class Actions.
Previous experience in case management, customer service, or a related field within the legal industry is preferred, with knowledge of Lemon Law, Dealer Fraud, and/or Class Actions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
