The experienced Commercial Solar Project Manager is overall responsible for planning and executing operations of Commercial projects pertaining to solar installations.
This includes project-specific management, as well as all project planning to maintain readiness.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Commercial Solar Project Manager should interact with customers at a professional level, able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.
Manage commercial jobs ensuring the jobs are completed profitably on time within budget and done safely.
Certify that on-site Supervisors are performing their roles and leading their teams in a manner that maintains safety and corporate reputation.
Review and check the solar plans with the designers and customers.
Provide complete and thorough documentation and reports upon completion of each assigned job.
Review layouts received from designers to ensure production, panel layout, EPBB and shading report are accurate.
Make sure safety procedures are continually followed to target zero Incidents/lost time injuries/property damages.
Commercial Solar Project Manager should prepare Weekly reports that measure Operational performance, efficiency and profitability and project status (% completion, budget performance, supply chain performance etc.
) Promptly take a proactive approach to assess and mitigate hazardous conditions that ensures that all Safety and Operational activities are successful.
Ensure that all staff receive the required training and the tools required to execute the duties of their roles.
Training is scheduled to ensure that it is completed when required.
Oversee procurement of materials to ensure that COMPANY obtains lowest price possible by Economic Order Quantity standards.
Necessary Skills and
Experience:

years of working experience as a Commercial Solar Project Manager Solar industry experience is a must Working skills with Microsoft Projects is an advantage.
Helioscope Solar Design Software Knowledge is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills - ability to organize, utilize and motivate team members quickly to respond to changes.
Effective communication skills across all levels and departments of the organization Be flexible and able to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.
Ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to rapidly evolving business priorities.
Good knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards to check the plans.
Good knowledge of utilities requirements for meter spot in CA Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills High proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, Salesforce and/or other PM software.
OSHA 30 certification will be beneficial.
