POSITION SUMMARYAs a Front Office Assistant, you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission of providing the highest level of care.
You will be responsible for greeting patients, checking in patients, scheduling, and verifying insurance/payment.
The Front Office Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations.
What you will be doing Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments and follow-ups in person or by telephone and checking patients in and out Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays Ensure availability of treatment information by filling and retrieving patient records Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and professional manner What you will bring to the team 2 years of experience in the medical field is required, gastroenterology experience preferred EMR system experience Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Knowledge of Medical Terminology Bilingual-Amerine preferred What we can offer you Competitive Salary and Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
