The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday and one day every other weekend(extra pay on weekends).
When you work a weekend you will have a day off during the week.
The position requires working on alternating holidays (time and a half paid on holidays).
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Intake of new referrals and staffing/assigning care to nurses and therapists.
Check insurance eligibility Intake screening phone calls to verify patient information Support medical records department with processing of NOMNC forms and MD orders The qualified candidate should possess:
Experience using EMR (electronic medical record systems) Excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate well with Physicians and other Healthcare Professionals Excellence in multitasking Commitment to providing exceptional customer service Desire to be part of a team Ability to work independently, complete work in a timely manner and demonstrate flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume and work schedule.
