L&D Travel RN
Monitor patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
Provide information, guidance and hands-on clinical care to expectant parents.
Monitor fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
Provide guidance to new parents on all aspects of recovery and infant care.
If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
Availability to work the facility s required schedule.
Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Also referred to as:
Labor and Delivery registered nurse, obstetrical nurse, OB nurse.
Job Requirements
1
year of experience as a L&D nurse
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
BLS certification required
