SALEM LA is comprised of four radio stations KKLA-FM (Inspirational Talk), KFSH-FM, (Contemporary Christian Music) AM590, The Answer), and AM870 (The Answer) SALEM LA is a member of Salem Communications Corporation, the nations largest operator of Conservative Talk, Christian and Inspirational radio stations, radio networks, Christian media and entertainment, Internet aggregators, e-commerce, new media and streaming.
Expand local sales by bringing new advertisers to the station, generating new leads and selling non-traditional advertising. Develop client relationships, contact key accounts, handle clients at various stages in the sales cycle including account updates, weekly projections and forecast of future advertising. Generate packages, negotiate advertising rates, direct creative campaigns and create oral and written presentations. Establish and maintain good relationships with buyers and clients. Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth. Research, analyze, and monitor competitive media for new leads.
Hours may vary due to nature of the position. Usual start time is 8:30am.
Have a deep understanding of the entire sales process start to finish.
Have a good understanding of radio, digital, and other integrated multi-platform media.
Be able to quickly identify who the right target prospect is.
Be able to book appointments with the prospects for clients needs analysis.
Follow up with AM870 solutions based proposal and close the business.
Provide excellent service to current clients and up sell.
Make effective use of your time to hunt and farm new business while maintaining excellent relationships with current clients.

Full-Time salary and benefits including medical, dental, 401K plan, cafeteria flex-benefit plan, paid vacation and sick time, and paid parking. Salary level based upon degree of experience and proficiency.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
