Wanted: Competent and Capable Operating Room Nurse for a Fast-Paced, High-Growth Health Care Company in Glendale, CA.
We are looking for a qualified, experienced and highly-motivated Operating Room Nurse to help deliver quality care to our patients. If you are in line with the following goals and skills, we would like to talk to you right away.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Three (3) years of operating room experience.
BLS and ACLS Certification.
ASC experience preferred.
Core Duties and Responsibilities include:
Working with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Scrub Technicians to provide nursing care intra-operatively in an Ambulatory Care setting.
Assessing, evaluating and documenting patients' condition intra-operatively.
Ensuring all required documentation are complete, accurate and signed, per Regulatory Requirements and Company Policy.
Ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments for each surgical procedure are present.
Assisting the Anesthesiologist during induction, intubation and extubation.
Positioning patient for surgical procedure and performing skin preparation.
Performing surgical count and documenting accordingly.
Monitoring for breaks in sterile technique.
Transporting specimens to proper lab facilities.
Ideal candidate should be flexible with hours and shifts may include weekends.
Compensation:
Per Diem to Part Time (Negotiable, DOE).
