CT Tech - Radiology-CT Scan
Job Summary
Operates computerized tomography equipment. Positions patient appropriately for subsequent CAT scan. Scans patient in accordance with established protocol and physician order. Assists physician with injection of contrast material.
Duties and Responsibilities
Completes and submits patient billing for services rendered.
Demonstrates ability to appropriately collect and analyze information, reach decisions, take appropriate action and follow through within scope of responsibility.
Positions patient appropriately for subsequent CAT scan.
Education and Qualifications
1-2 years CT Scan Experience preferable.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AATR) and Certification of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from the State of California, Department of Health Sciences.
Ct specialty licensure preferred.
