Program Support Assistant

Plans and/or supports Office of Care Centers and Clinics in the Community (OC4) committees or conferences. Plans agendas for meetings and ensures that appropriate working papers and reports are complete and ready for presentation at meetings. Oversees all logistical planning and preparation for OC4 meetings including scheduling, mailings, travel and lodging arrangements, and special events. Prepares and distributes approved minutes of meetings. Performs administrative work which may include management of Executive Director's schedule or day-to-day plans. Provides general administrative support for OC4 which may include scheduling meetings, calendar management, and recording minutes for various meetings. Manages and/or prepares responses to correspondence on behalf of OC4. Manages procurement and contracting for OC4 including preparing procurement requests, evaluating proposals for work, acting as a COR for procurements, and/or maintaining procurement and contracting records. Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication. Handles timekeeping duties. Performs other related duties as assigned. Work Schedule:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-4). Specialized experience is experience performing clerical or administrative support work such as scheduling meetings, calendar management, recording meeting minutes, prepare correspondence, timekeeping, etc. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have four (4) years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. OR, Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an equivalent combination of specialized experience as described above and education beyond of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year). One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. An example of an equivalent combination is 90 semester hours of education and 6 months of specialized experience as described above. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:
Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, Skype, Internet Research, and SharePoint. Ability to exchange oral and written information effectively. Knowledge of fiscal management concepts. Ability to coordinate data collection and presentation related to performance indicators and measures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note:
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
