Per the AFGE Master Agreement, the Area of Consideration will be: 1st Area of Consideration- Current Facility and CBOC employees; 2nd Area of Consideration - VA Nationwide applicants; 3rd Area of Consideration - Other Status candidates Duties may consist of, but are not limited to: Determines the methods, techniques, devices and materials that are best suited to the surface finish required and/or a finish that must meet specified thickness and levels; Prepares surfaces by methods such as smoothing, filling, shaping, and leveling with metal and synthetic resins, and mixing and apply pre-coating agents; Prepares coating materials with any of the accepted trade devices including those designed to give special effects such as brushes, rollers, spray guns and graining devices; Ensure that the coating finish meets/match texture, decorative, thickness and level requirements; Responsible for constructing, altering, maintaining, and the repair of buildings, structures, partitions, panels, using wood, wood substitutes, and composite building materials; Performs work that involves the maintenance, repair or construction of curbs and occasionally walls; Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Prepare and coat surfaces from ladders, scaffolds, and platforms, and where the surfaces to be coated are in cramped and hard-to-reach places. This requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lift, carry, and set up materials and equipment that weigh up to I0 pounds. Occasionally, may handle materials and equipment that weigh 40 pounds and over.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
