An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Financial Systems Manager in the Disney Financial Systems team based in Glendale, CA. Responsibilities: The Financial Systems Manager will manage the Order to Cash (OTC) process for the Front of the House systems and SAP related sustainment activities that support the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) segment. This will include but not limited to provide continuous improvements and systems enhancements, develop testing plans, issues resolution, and user support. He/ She will process OTC master data requests, including gathering requirements, processing requests and validating set up in SAP. This role will also manage small to medium projects in partnership with business clients to integrate new businesses, upgrade front of house systems to latest technology platforms as needed and ensure systems support overall SAP modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting/finance and project management background. He/ She should have experience with the financial processes associated with the revenue life cycle using Front of the House systems and familiar with current best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the transaction processing, reconciliation, reporting and revenue recognition. The candidate should have strong client service relationships, be able to interact and partner with all levels of management, excellent communication skills, experience with managing team members to achieve goals, work in a fast-paced environment, and adaptable to business priority changes with ease. This person will report to the Manager, Financial Systems OTC. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 7- 10 years of demonstrated high-level professional knowledge and skills in finance and/or supply chain systems and processes. Minimum of 7 - 10 years leading change management efforts at the Enterprise, Segment and Business Unit levels of the organization Minimum 3 years (preferred) of staff management experience Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization Passion for and knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver best practice solutions ensuring financial systems integrity and controls Expert knowledge/experience in Financial Systems and/or Systems area for business and technical audiences Experience leading and championing change for large projects that encompass front of house and back of house finance/accounting and integration to SAP ensuring financial integrity Demonstrate multi-tasking and project management skills to manage workload from logistics to strategic efforts, while adhering to deadlines and high quality. Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to employ various styles, formats and voices clearly, consistently and creatively. Ability to develop a logical and persuasive approach and outline for a deck, knowing how to vary format, structure, and content to suit various audiences Ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients, their needs and potential reactions to communications and ideas. Demonstrated ability to build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends Ability to discriminate between symptoms and root causes Demonstrated ability to build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures. Demonstrated self-starter, able to prepare project plans with minimal input. Proven ability to establish relationships with employees and teams, at all levels of an organization. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
