Stability Technology is looking for a Desktop Support Tech to provide MAC OS/Windows support to end users.
This is a 6 Month Contract to Perm role located in Glendale, CA.
Job
Responsibilities:
Provides end-to-end IT technical support for PC & Mac systems, hardware and software support, installation, patching, moves, changes and general maintenance as requiredProvides support for Windows Servers (limited), network, printers, telephones and other related technologies as directedInstructs end-users in the use of relevant technologyProvides end-user support for iPhone/iPad, Android or other mobile devicesMaintains asset inventory, network diagrams and other related and relevant records and documents Be a liaison between corporate IT and the end-user community, may be called upon to liaise with other 3rd party IT groupsMaintains and clearly communicates expectations to local end-user communityCoordinates the delivery of various IT assetsAssists with project efforts and overall infrastructure enhancements to meet company goals and objectives
Qualifications:
Must have a can-do and positive attitude, customer service orientedAt least 5 years of experience in an IT support role supporting over 100 users, preferably in a fast paced and mission critical environment4-6 years of experience supporting Windows-based workstations with extensive knowledge of Windows 104-6 years of experience supporting Mac OS-based workstations with extensive knowledge of OS X (Sierra & High Sierra)2-3 years of experience supporting Windows Server 2008 or aboveExperience supporting common software packages for both the PC and Mac such as:
Microsoft Office, Adobe Suites and other productivity tools.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
